# Request deletion of the current user.

`DELETE /users/current`

## Request

Creates a deletion request for the currently authenticated user. Returns a delete ID that must be used to confirm the deletion within 5 minutes.

## Response `200`

Deletion request created successfully

- UserDeletionRequest
  - `delete_id` string, required: Unique identifier for the deletion request. Must be used within 5 minutes to confirm deletion.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `default`: Unexpected error
