# Get graph build status for a collection.

`GET /graph/{collection_id}/status`

Returns the current knowledge graph build status and metadata.

## Path parameters

- `collection_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful operation

- object
  - `status` 'none' | 'building' | 'ready' | 'failed': Current graph build status.
  - `built_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the graph was last successfully built.
  - `outdated` boolean: Whether new documents have been added since the last build.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden
- `default`: Unexpected error
