# Update API key expiry.

`PATCH /admin/api_keys/expire/{key_id}`

Allows admins to update the expiration of an API key (either set a new expiry or remove one).

## Path parameters

- `key_id` string, required

## Request body

- APIKeyUpdateExpiryRequest
  - `expires_in` string: Interval of when the API key should expire. Do not include if you would like to remove the expiry of a key.

## Response `204`

Successful operation

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Conflict
- `default`: Unexpected error
