# List approved WhatsApp templates

`GET /public/v1/whatsapp/templates/{phone_number_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gurusup.com`
- URL: `https://api.gurusup.com/public/v1/whatsapp/templates/{phone_number_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

List the approved WhatsApp message templates for a `phone_number_id`.

Authenticate with the `x-api-key` header. Use the returned `name` and `language` values
as `template_name` / `language_code` when calling `POST /public/v1/whatsapp/send-template`.

Templates are WABA-scoped — we resolve the matched phone's WABA (may differ from the org's
primary WABA when `phone_numbers` entries override it) and target it.

## Path parameters

- `phone_number_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Approved templates available for the given phone number.

- WhatsappTemplateListResponse: Response for listing WhatsApp message templates scoped to a phone number.
  - `templates` object[], required
  - `total` integer, required
  - `phone_number_id` string, required
  - `waba_id` string, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `404`: phone_number_id is not configured for this organization.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `503`: Transient WhatsApp/Meta error or temporary outage.
