# Creating and sending an email message to a candidate

`POST /jobs/{jobId}/applications/{applicationId}/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gupy.io/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.gupy.io/api/v1/jobs/{jobId}/applications/{applicationId}/messages`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates and sends an email message based on a template to a candidate.

## Path parameters

- `jobId` integer, required
- `applicationId` integer, required

## Request body

- MessageEmailSend
  - `from` string: E-mail of the company user. Defaults to company's e-mail address
  - `templateId` integer, required: Template identifier
  - `allowReply` boolean, required: The candidate is allowed to reply the message

## Response `201`

A confirmation of successfull creation of the message

## Other responses

- `400`: BadRequest / Invalid Input
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: NotFound / Resource not found
