# Creating an contract

`POST /contracts`

## Request

Creates new contract

## Request body

- object
  - `preEmployeeId` number, required: Pre-employee internal id found in the route [GET] /pre-employees
  - `witnesses` string[]
  - `contractSigners` object[], required: List of contract signers
    - `name` string
    - `email` string, email
    - `signerType` 'sign' | 'witness' | 'legal_representative' | 'legal_responsible'
  - `files` object[], required: List of contract files
    - `filename` string: File name with extension
    - `content` string: Data URI with contract content (doc, docx or pdf)
  - `deadline` string, date-time: Optional. ISO 8601 deadline for signing the contract. When omitted, the contract is created with the system default expiration of 90 days.
  - `notificationMessage` string
  - `signersTemplateId` number: Signers template id
  - `remindInterval` number: Number in days for send reminders
