# Send agent test message

`POST /partner/app/{appId}/bizai/agent_test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://partner.gupshup.io`
- URL: `https://partner.gupshup.io/partner/app/{appId}/bizai/agent_test`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Tests the agent without a real consumer. Testing tokens are not billed. Conversations cannot be deleted.

## Request body

- AgentTestRequest
  - `user_msg` string, required
  - `conversation_id` string: Reuse to continue a test conversation. Must be a string.

## Response `200`

The agent's reply.

- AgentTestResponse: **Per Meta reference**.
  - `message_id` string, required
  - `agent_response` string, required
  - `conversation_id` string, required
  - `timestamp` integer
  - `handoff_reason` string
  - `no_response_reason` string
  - `quick_replies` string[]
  - `product_variant_ids` string[]

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing `user_msg`, or a non-string `conversation_id`.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or foreign-app token. Raised by Partner Portal before any forwarding.
- `429`: Per-app rate limit exceeded. Retry after the 60-second window.
