# Count data tasks per finding

`GET /v1/data/tasks/summary`

## Request

How many remediation tasks each finding has, by state, for a page that lists the checks and wants a marker on each, and how many closed over the last week, month and all time by who closed them. A finding is a check id, or the field for a gap. Keyless, on the same reasoning as the task list; counts reveal nothing a task does not.

No API key required.

## Response `200`

Count data tasks per finding

- object
  - `success` boolean, required: Always true on a successful response. Every error carries `false` and an `error` object instead.
  - `data` object, required: The response payload.
    - `findings` object: Finding id -> state -> number of tasks. Keys are dynamic; a state with no tasks is absent rather than zero.
    - `closed` object: Tasks closed in the last 7 days, the last 30 days and all time, each split by who closed them (the `closer` values the task list carries).
      - `last7Days` object, required: Closed in the last 7 days.
        - `redback` integer, required: Closed by `redback`.
        - `redback_accepted` integer, required: Closed by `redback_accepted`.
        - `team` integer, required: Closed by `team`.
      - `last30Days` object, required: Closed in the last 30 days.
        - `redback` integer, required: Closed by `redback`.
        - `redback_accepted` integer, required: Closed by `redback_accepted`.
        - `team` integer, required: Closed by `team`.
      - `allTime` object, required: Closed since the board began.
        - `redback` integer, required: Closed by `redback`.
        - `redback_accepted` integer, required: Closed by `redback_accepted`.
        - `team` integer, required: Closed by `team`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `429`: A limit was reached. `RATE_LIMITED` is the per-minute limit: wait `Retry-After` seconds (a minute) and retry. `DAILY_CAP_EXCEEDED` is the plan's daily limit, per key: nothing will be served until the counters return to zero at midnight UTC. `MONTHLY_CAP_EXCEEDED` is the plan's monthly allowance, for the whole account: nothing will be served until midnight UTC on the first of next month, or until the plan changes. For both, `Retry-After` is the seconds until then and `error.resetsAt` says when as an instant. Calls made after a refusal are refused too and do not spend the month, and a free key that keeps calling is paused, so stop at the first one and resume at the reset.
- `500`: Internal server error
