# Update a Site name or internal slug

`PATCH /sites/{siteId}`

## Request

Requires funnels:write. It never changes DNS or a connected hostname.

- SiteUpdate
  - `name` string
  - `slug` string

## Response `200`

Site updated

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: The scoped credential does not grant this operation
- `404`: Site not found
- `409`: Site slug is already in use
- `422`: Invalid query parameters
