# Heartbeat a sync job to keep it alive

`POST /v1/jobs/sync/heartbeat`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.grepr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `GREPR-API-KEY`

Sends a heartbeat to a synchronous job to keep it alive. This is needed to keep the connection open and to prevent the server from closing it.
