# Get your issue access

`GET /v1/issues/access`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.grepr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://docs.grepr.ai/v1/issues/access`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `GREPR-API-KEY`
  - OpenID Connect (`https://grepr-prod.us.auth0.com/.well-known/openid-configuration`)

Returns which issues you may view and which you may edit: every issue in the organization, or those of some teams. Clients use it to show write controls; every request is still authorized on its own.

## Response `200`

Access retrieved

- IssueAccessScopes: The issues the caller may view and edit. A client shows write controls from `edit`; the server still decides every request. An issue is in a scope when the scope is organization-wide, or when the issue names one of the scope's teams. An issue with no teams is only in organization-wide scopes. A person may give an issue the teams of their edit scope, or any team when it is organization-wide.
  - `edit` IssueScopeView: Which issues a principal may act on for one action: every issue in the organization, or those naming one of these teams.
    - `orgWide` boolean: Whether the principal may act on every issue in the organization.
    - `teamIds` string[]: The teams whose issues the principal may act on, sorted; empty when `orgWide`.
  - `view` IssueScopeView: Which issues a principal may act on for one action: every issue in the organization, or those naming one of these teams.
    - `orgWide` boolean: Whether the principal may act on every issue in the organization.
    - `teamIds` string[]: The teams whose issues the principal may act on, sorted; empty when `orgWide`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
