# Reply to a chat's pending approval

`POST /v1/chats/{chatId}/permissions/{permissionId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.grepr.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `GREPR-API-KEY`
  - OpenID Connect (`https://grepr-prod.us.auth0.com/.well-known/openid-configuration`)

Signals the chat's workflow with the user's decision on the write it is waiting on, resuming the turn. Returns 202 immediately. To stop being asked about such writes, grant their categories under /v1/chat-preferences/action-categories.

## Response `202`

Decision accepted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Chat not found
- `409`: Chat is no longer running
