# Look up a domain name and receive risk and DNS-related details

`GET /lookup/domains/{domain}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://v2.greipapi.com`
- URL: `https://v2.greipapi.com/lookup/domains/{domain}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve detailed information about a domain by providing its domain name.

The API returns data such as the domain creation date and risk evaluation metrics. This endpoint is in beta: domains not yet in the automated database return `null` for properties and trigger background collection (typically available within 24 hours after the first request).
