# Store the selected business organization's settings

`PUT /organization/settings`

Both fields are required; reportingCurrency null clears it (costs then stay in their original currencies). reportingCurrency must be EUR or a currency the ECB publishes a reference rate for (supportedCurrencies); others answer 400. Requires org.edit_dashboard (organization admins and editors).

  - `fxRateBasis` 'bill_date' | 'period_end', required — bill_date: a cost is converted at the rate of its row's start date (the bill date), in every month it is pro-rated into. period_end: each month's share at the rate of that month's last day.
  - `reportingCurrency` string, nullable, required

    - `reportingCurrency` string, nullable, required — ISO 4217; null when not set (costs stay in their original currencies).
    - `supportedCurrencies` string[], required — Currencies a reporting currency may be (EUR and the ECB reference currencies), sorted.
