# Delete candidate employment

`DELETE /v3/candidate_employments/{id}`

Remove a single employment entry from a candidate's profile. Because V3 has no update endpoint for employments, corrections to `company_name`, `title`, or dates are made by deleting the stale entry and creating a new one. Deleting the candidate's `latest: true` entry causes Greenhouse to recompute `latest` on the remaining entries (and the parent candidate's `company` and `title` will update to follow).
