# Status — current health and measured uptime

`GET /v1/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.greencalculus.com`
- URL: `https://api.greencalculus.com/v1/status`
- Auth: none required

Open (no key). Current operational state, uptime over 24h/7d/30d, and a log of healthy/degraded transitions. Measured by a probe running every ~5 minutes against the edge factor store, the WordPress origin and a real calculation round-trip. The probe runs INSIDE this Worker and therefore cannot observe the Worker being entirely down — the response says so rather than implying total coverage.

## Response `200`

Status, uptime percentages, transitions, caveat

- Status: Recorded uptime from a probe inside the API worker. A window reads null until the collected history spans it — we do not extrapolate a short record.
  - `status` 'operational' | 'degraded' | 'down'
  - `failing` string[]
  - `since` string, date-time
  - `uptime_pct` object: Keyed 24h / 7d / 30d. null means not yet measurable, NOT zero.
  - `uptime_basis` object: When collection started, how many checks, and the date each window becomes reportable.
  - `checks_recorded` integer
  - `days_recorded` integer
  - `probes` string[]
  - `transitions` object[]
  - `caveat` string: Includes the probe's own blind spot — it runs inside the worker, so it cannot see the worker being wholly down.
