# Watch a factor key

`POST /v1/account/watch`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.greencalculus.com`
- URL: `https://api.greencalculus.com/v1/account/watch`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

A release that touches the key emails old to new with the versioned verify link. A key that is not in the corpus is REFUSED with 422 rather than accepted as an alert that could never fire.

## Request body

- object
  - `key` string, required: A canonical factor key.

## Response `200`

The watchlist after the addition

- WatchMutation: The watchlist after the change, and which key moved.
  - `keys` string[]
  - `added` string
  - `removed` string

## Other responses

- `400`: No key in the body
- `401`: No valid key or session
- `422`: The key is not in the corpus, so watching it would never alert
