# Set the summary cadence

`POST /v1/account/watch/digest`

## Request

Off by default. Each edition covers exactly the period since the last one — anchored to itself, so it fits any financial year with no configuration. Quiet periods still send: "your saved figures stand" is the answer a reporting team needs.

## Response `200`

The cadence after the change

- Digest: The summary cadence for this account. Off by default. Each edition covers exactly the period since the last one, so it fits any financial year without configuration.
  - `cadence` 'off' | 'monthly' | 'quarterly'
  - `last_sent` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `400`: cadence must be off, monthly or quarterly
- `401`: No valid key or session
