# Get a specific organization

`GET /organizations/{orgId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/management/v2` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/management/v2/organizations/{orgId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in cookie `Auth-Graviteeio-APIM`

Get a specific organization

User must be authenticated.

## Response `200`

An organization

- Organization
  - `id` string: Organization's uuid.
  - `name` string: Organization's name. Duplicate names can exists.
  - `description` string: Organization's description. A short description of your Organization.

## Other responses

- `default`: Generic error response
