# Get a specific environment

`GET /environments/{envId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/management/v2` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/management/v2/environments/{envId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in cookie `Auth-Graviteeio-APIM`

Get a specific environment.

User must be authenticated.

## Response `200`

An environment

- Environment
  - `id` string: Environment's uuid.
  - `name` string: Environment's name. Duplicate names can exists.
  - `description` string: Environment's description. A short description of your Environment.

## Other responses

- `default`: Generic error response
