# Publish portal page

`POST /portal-pages/{pageId}/_publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `/management/v2/environments/DEFAULT` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/management/v2/environments/DEFAULT/portal-pages/{pageId}/_publish`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in cookie `Auth-Graviteeio-APIM`

User must have the ENVIRONMENT_DOCUMENTATION[update] permission.

## Path parameters

- `pageId` string, required

## Response `200`

A portal page

- PortalPageWithDetails: A portal page with details
  - `id` string: The unique ID of the portal page
  - `content` string: Page contents
  - `type` 'gravitee_markdown': Content type
  - `context` 'homepage': The portal context (eg. "homepage", "api_list")
  - `published` boolean: Whether the page is published or not

## Other responses

- `default`: Generic error response
