# Get a Gateway instance details

`GET /instances/{instanceId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/management/v2/environments/DEFAULT` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/management/v2/environments/DEFAULT/instances/{instanceId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in cookie `Auth-Graviteeio-APIM`

## Path parameters

- `instanceId` string, required

## Response `200`

The gateway instance details.

- object
  - `id` string: Gateway's uuid.
  - `hostname` string: Gateway's hostname.
  - `ip` string: Gateway's ip.
