# Edit Work Memory

Replace one memory topic. ``expected_revision`` is a compare-and-swap; stale is ``409``.

## Request body

- WorkMemoryEditRequest: Replace one memory topic. Mirrors ``work.memory_router.MemoryEdit``.
  - `scope` 'personal' | 'agent' | 'team': `personal`, `agent` or `team`
  - `agent_id` string, uuid, nullable: Required for, and only for, `agent` scope
  - `topic` 'profile' | 'goals' | 'decisions' | 'feedback' | 'corrections' | 'entities', required: The topic to replace
  - `content` string, required: The new content
  - `expected_revision` string, nullable, required: The `revision` you read, or null when the topic is new

    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
