# Contact Support

`POST /support/contact`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/support/contact`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Send a message to graph8's human support team.

The reply channel is email: support answers to ``contact_email`` when
provided, otherwise to the authenticated user's own address.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- ContactSupportRequest: A support request relayed from an AI client (or direct API caller). ``urgency`` is deliberately a free-form string, not an enum — LLM callers produce arbitrary phrasing and a 422 on vocabulary would block a user who is already asking for help. Urgent-flavored values ("high", "urgent", "critical", "asap") get a visible subject-line prefix; everything else is passed through as informational text.
  - `message` string, required: What the user needs help with, in their own words.
  - `contact_email` string, email, nullable: Where graph8 support should reply. Optional for personal API keys (the key's own user email is used); REQUIRED for org-scoped machine keys, which carry no personal email.
  - `urgency` string, nullable: Free-form urgency hint, e.g. 'normal', 'high', 'urgent'.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseContactSupportResponse
  - `data` ContactSupportResponse, required: Acknowledgment for a support request. ``status`` is ``received`` on first delivery and ``already_received`` when the per-user cooldown swallowed a duplicate (still HTTP 200 — a retryable error code would make LLM callers loop harder).
    - `status` string, required
    - `notified` integer: Support staff notified on this call (0 on cooldown).
    - `reply_email` string, nullable: Address graph8 support will reply to.
    - `note` string: Human-readable summary for the caller to relay to the user.
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
