# Batch Template Generation Status

`POST /newsletters/templates/generation-status`

Poll many template builds at once.

A POST because the id list is the request, not a filter. Capped at 200 ids
- the cap is the app's, and it exists because this is polled every couple
of seconds.

- TemplateGenerationStatusBatchRequest: Poll many template builds in one call. Capped at 200 ids, matching the app. The cap is not arbitrary: a dashboard polls this every two seconds and an unbounded `IN (...)` is a denial-of- service surface, which is why it is enforced here as a 422 rather than reached inside the handler.

    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
