# Edit a job post or change its status (publish/pause/close/filled)

`PATCH /marketplace/job-posts/{post_id}`

Partial update. Any subset of the role fields may be sent; only provided
fields change. Set ``status`` to move the role through
draft → published → paused → closed | filled.

    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
