# Update Hiring Keyword

`PATCH /intent/keywords/{keyword_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/intent/keywords/{keyword_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Edit a HIRING listener in place: its name, filters or watchlist scope.

Only `jobs` and `job_changes` listeners are editable here; any other keyword
is a 404. `search_filters` is a FULL REPLACEMENT.

## Path parameters

- `keyword_id` string, uuid, required: The keyword's id.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- UpdateKeywordRequest: Partial update of a HIRING listener (`jobs` / `job_changes` keyword). Omitted fields are left alone. The app refuses a plain intent keyword here with a 404; its filters are replaced with `POST /intent/keywords/{id}/filters`.
  - `keyword` string, nullable: The listener's name. Must not be blank.
  - `search_filters` object, nullable: FULL REPLACEMENT of the filter object, not a merge - filters left out are dropped. `window_days` must be 1-365 and `contacts_per_company` 1-50 when present.
  - `watchlist_source` string, nullable: Talent Moves watchlist scope, as a JSON-encoded string.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseIntentPayload
  - `data` IntentPayload, required: One intent object or handler response. Open-shaped: these payloads carry corpus detail that grows with the corpus. A list result is returned under `items`.
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
