# Confirm Migration

`POST /integrations/migrations/{migration_id}/confirm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/integrations/migrations/{migration_id}/confirm`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Accept the discovery and START IMPORTING. Records begin landing.

A migration cannot be un-run - only cancelled part-way, leaving whatever
already arrived. Read the status first: its `warnings` are the things
discovery could not resolve on its own.

An empty body accepts the discovery as proposed, which is the point of
previewing it. Org admin, matching the app.

## Path parameters

- `migration_id` string, required: Migration id from discovery.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- ConfirmMigrationRequest: Accept a discovery and START IMPORTING. This is the irreversible half: records begin landing in graph8 and a migration cannot be un-run, only cancelled part-way. Every field is OPTIONAL and omitting them accepts the discovery as proposed - which is the point of previewing it first. Send `field_mappings_override` to change where a CRM field lands, `selected_list_ids` to import only some lists, or `owner_decisions` to say what happens to the records of Salesforce owners who are not in graph8. A Salesforce discovery with an `unmatched` owner needs a decision for that owner: without one the confirm is refused with 422.
  - `field_mappings_override` object, nullable: Per entity type, the mappings to use instead of the discovered ones. Omit to accept what discovery proposed.
  - `selected_list_ids` string[], nullable: Import only these CRM lists. Omit to take every discovered list.
  - `owner_decisions` MigrationOwnerDecision[], nullable: Salesforce only: one decision per record owner who is not a graph8 member (at most 500). Required for every owner whose `match.status` is `unmatched`; optional `assign` for a `placeholder` owner. `match` moves every record the owner has; `assign` moves only their open deals and open tasks.
    - `sf_user_id` string, required: The owner's Salesforce user id, as discovery listed it in `owners`.
    - `action` 'invite' | 'assign' | 'unassigned' | 'match', required: `invite`: invite the owner to graph8 by email; their records are held for the invited address and become theirs when they first sign in. Invites go out in a member's name, so an API key's confirm with an `invite` decision is refused with 403. `assign`: move only their OPEN deals and OPEN tasks to the graph8 member `assign_to_team_member_id`; contacts, companies and closed records stay on the owner's placeholder. `match`: this Salesforce user IS the graph8 member `assign_to_team_member_id`; EVERY record they own moves to that member. `unassigned`: import their records with no owner.
    - `invite_email` string, nullable: `invite` only: the address to invite. Omit to use the owner's Salesforce email.
    - `assign_to_team_member_id` string, nullable: `assign` and `match` only: the graph8 team member id who receives the records.

## Response `202`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseConnectionPayload
  - `data` ConnectionPayload, required: An open envelope for a connection, a token or a migration report. Open because the migration STATUS payload carries a per-entity progress map, a discovered-field map and a pipeline list that all grow with the providers - and because a dropped warning on a migration report reads as "nothing went wrong".
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
