# Send Inbox Email

`POST /inbox/emails/{email_id}/send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/inbox/emails/{email_id}/send`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

SEND. THIS DELIVERS A REAL MESSAGE TO A REAL RECIPIENT.

Classifies `external`, so it needs the `inbox:run` grant rather than plain
write - a customer can hand out "read and triage my inbox" without handing
out "send as me".

Pass `message_id` to keep the reply in its thread; without it the message
arrives as a new conversation.

## Path parameters

- `email_id` string, required: Email thread id.

## Query parameters

- `mailbox` string, required: Mailbox address to send FROM.
- `provider` 'google_mailbox' | 'smtp', required: Required and not inferred: the same address can be connected either way, and guessing would send through the wrong transport. Declared as a Literal so an unknown value is a request-layer 422 - as a bare `str` it reached `Mailbox(provider)` inside the handler and raised a ValueError, which is a 500 on the single most consequential call on this surface.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- EmailSendRequest: The message to send. THIS REACHES A REAL RECIPIENT.
  - `content` string, required: Body.
  - `subject` string, required: Subject.
  - `from_email` string[], required
  - `to` string[], required: Recipients. At least one.
  - `cc_email` string[]
  - `bcc_email` string[]
  - `message_id` string, nullable: Message being replied to, to keep the thread.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseDict
  - `data` object, required
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
