# List Global Context Documents

`GET /global-context/documents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/global-context/documents`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

List global context documents for the authenticated organization.

Each row carries metadata (id, display_name, file_type, category,
folder_path, status, priority, version, timestamps), plus `wiki_category`
(the group the Studio Wiki shows it under) and `workflow` (context,
intelligence or research). When ``include_content`` is True (the default)
the document body is included at ``content`` (sourced from
``meta_data.content``) so callers can read what a document actually says;
pass ``include_content=false`` to omit the body for a cheaper listing. The
default stays True for backwards compatibility — the MCP
``g8_gtm_get_global_context`` tool, the JS SDK ``studio.globalContext``
client, and the ``g8://global-context`` resource surfaces have always relied
on ``content`` being present.

``include_intelligence`` / ``include_research`` add the Wiki's other two
buckets so a caller can see every Wiki document in one call; ``limit``
applies to each bucket.

## Query parameters

- `category` string, nullable: Filter by context category: brand, audience, messaging, market, offer, targeting, data (case-insensitive). `targeting` matches the Studio Wiki's Targeting group (TAM / ICP / Persona Research). An unknown category that matches no document returns 422 listing the valid categories.
- `include_content` boolean: Include each document's body text at `content` (read from meta_data.content). Default True preserves historical behavior (this endpoint has always returned content); pass false for a lighter metadata-only listing.
- `include_intelligence` boolean: Also list the Wiki's Intelligence documents (website scrape, competitor discovery, organic keywords, brand news, ...) with `workflow`='intelligence' and category 'data'. Metadata only: read a body with GET /intelligence-data ?data_type=<file_type>&include_content=true. Default false (historical shape).
- `include_research` boolean: Also list the Wiki's Research reports with `workflow`='research' and category 'data'; `content` carries the report markdown when include_content is true. Default false (historical shape).
- `limit` integer

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseListDict
  - `data` object[], required
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
