# Upsert Deal Custom Field Di Config

`POST /deals/custom-fields/di-config`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/deals/custom-fields/di-config`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Replace the deal custom-field mappings.

ENTRY GATE: manager tier (DEALS_WRITE_TEAM / DEALS_WRITE_ALL /
DEALS_MANAGE), the SAME route dependency the app declares - the values here
are interpolated into the Deal Intelligence LLM prompt, so an own-scope rep
must not be able to poison org-wide DI. The coarse `deals:write` scope does
not distinguish own/team/all/manage, so this RBAC gate is what stops a
rep-minted key reaching a manager-only surface.

`items` is the FULL desired set for the providers it names, not a delta -
the app upserts exactly what is sent. The READ half of this pair shipped in
#20744; this completes it.

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, nullable
- `X-Target-Org-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- CustomFieldDiConfigUpsertRequest: Replace the deal custom-field mappings. `items` is the FULL desired set for the providers it names, not a delta - the app upserts what is sent. Capped at 100 by the app; declared here so an over-long request is a 422 naming the field rather than a failure deeper in.
  - `items` CustomFieldDiConfigItem[], required
    - `crm_provider` string, required: salesforce, hubspot or pipedrive.
    - `field_id` string, required: The CRM's own field id.
    - `id` string, nullable
    - `display_name` string, nullable
    - `include_in_di_summary` boolean
    - `include_in_forecast_probability` boolean

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiResponseDealOpResponse
  - `data` DealOpResponse, required: Whatever the operation returns, carried through whole.
  - `pagination` PaginationMeta
    - `page` integer, required: Current page number (1-indexed)
    - `limit` integer, required: Items per page
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of items
    - `has_next` boolean, required: Whether there are more pages
    - `next_cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page; null when there are no more items. Pass it back as the `cursor` query param to fetch the following page without computing page numbers.
    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
