# List Companies

`GET /companies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://be.graph8.com/api/v1/companies`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

List companies with optional filtering and pagination.

## Query parameters

- `page` integer: Page number (1-indexed)
- `limit` integer: Items per page (max 200)
- `domain` string, nullable: Filter by domain (exact match)
- `industry` string, nullable: Filter by industry (partial match)
- `name` string, nullable: Filter by company name (partial match)
- `employee_count_min` integer, nullable: Minimum employee count
- `employee_count_max` integer, nullable: Maximum employee count
- `country` string, nullable: Filter by country (exact match, case-insensitive; surrounding spaces ignored). Common aliases match each other: United States = US = USA; United Kingdom = UK.
- `state` string, nullable: Filter by state (exact match, case-insensitive; surrounding spaces ignored)
- `city` string, nullable: Filter by city (partial match)
- `description` string, nullable: Filter by company description (partial match)
- `revenue_min` integer, nullable: Minimum annual revenue
- `revenue_max` integer, nullable: Maximum annual revenue
- `founded_year_min` integer, nullable: Minimum founding year
- `founded_year_max` integer, nullable: Maximum founding year
- `linkedin_followers_min` integer, nullable: Minimum LinkedIn followers
- `linkedin_followers_max` integer, nullable: Maximum LinkedIn followers
- `include_custom_fields` boolean: When true, each company includes a `custom_fields` object of custom column values keyed by column slug. Default false keeps the legacy response shape and adds no extra query.

    - `total_available` integer, nullable: Search endpoints only: how many records really match, when known. Can be larger than `total`, which is capped at the 10,000 results that can be paged. For company search this is a distinct-company estimate. Null when unknown; absent outside search.
    - `total_is_lower_bound` boolean, nullable: Search endpoints only: true when more records match than `total` shows (the result set is larger than the 10,000 results that can be paged). Absent outside search.
    - `notes` string[], nullable: Search endpoints only: plain-language notes about the result, e.g. that more records match than can be paged, or that a reversed `between` range was put in order.
