# Cancel a booking and notify both parties

`POST /appointments/bookings/{booking_uid}/cancel`

Cancel a booking. Reuses ``BookingsHandler.handle_cancel`` (sends the
cancellation emails, releases the slot, emits the EDA event). Body is
optional — omit it to cancel with no reason.
