# Get Current Org Prefs.

`GET /org/preferences`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document’s source URL is not known)
- URL: `/api/org/preferences`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Use /apis/preferences.grafana.app/v1/namespaces/{namespace}/preferences/namespace

## Response `200`

(empty)

- PreferencesSpec: +k8s:openapi-gen=true
  - `homeDashboardUID` string: UID for the home dashboard
  - `homeURL` string: Explicit home URL (NOTE: this can only be modified in the system settings)
  - `language` string: Selected language
  - `navbar` PreferencesNavbarPreference: +k8s:openapi-gen=true
    - `bookmarkUrls` string[]
  - `queryHistory` PreferencesQueryHistoryPreference: +k8s:openapi-gen=true
    - `homeTab` string: one of: '' | 'query' | 'starred';
  - `theme` string: user interface theme
  - `timezone` string: The timezone selection
  - `weekStart` string: day of the week (sunday, monday, etc)

## Other responses

- `401`: UnauthorizedError is returned when the request is not authenticated.
- `403`: ForbiddenError is returned if the user/token has insufficient permissions to access the requested resource.
- `500`: InternalServerError is a general error indicating something went wrong internally.
