# Update user preferences

`PUT /api/users/me/preferences`

## Request

Partial update: fields left out keep their saved values. Agents cannot set home_base; they get 403 confirmation_required with error.details[0].confirm_url for the user to confirm in the app.

Updated preferences, including home_base

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed, or the home base city was not found
- `403`: confirmation_required: agents cannot set home_base. error.details[0].confirm_url opens Travel Preferences pre-filled for the user
