# Query prevailing-wage rates by occupation

`GET /api/v1/wage-determinations/rates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://govconapi.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Query prevailing-wage rates ACROSS wage determinations, by occupation. The
listing endpoints answer "which WDs apply here"; this answers "what does a given
trade actually pay". Each row is one classification's hourly base wage plus
fringe, tied to the WD it came from.

Patterns:
- Electrician rates in WDs covering California:
  `?classification=Electrician&state=CA&active_only=true`
- One SCA occupation code:
  `?occupation_code=23210`
- Every rate line on one WD:
  `?wd_number=AK20260001`

DBA rows carry a `rate_group` (survey/union code) and a per-classification fringe;
SCA rows carry an `occupation_code` and the document-level Health & Welfare fringe.

## Query parameters

- `classification` string, nullable: Trade/occupation name substring (e.g. 'Electrician')
- `type` string, nullable: DBA | SCA (CBAs have no rate table)
- `occupation_code` string, nullable: SCA 5-digit occupation code (e.g. 23210)
- `wd_number` string, nullable: Exact WD number (e.g. 'AK20260001')
- `state` string, nullable: 2-letter US state code (via the WD's jurisdictions)
- `active_only` boolean: Only rates on currently-effective WDs
- `sort_by` string, nullable: base_rate | classification | wd_number
- `sort_order` string, nullable: asc | desc (default desc)
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer
- `fields` string, nullable: Comma-list of response fields to return
