# Search live listings (facts only, GSA Auctions)

`GET /listings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://govauctions.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://govauctions.app/api/v1/listings`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Query parameters

- `country` 'US'
- `state` string
- `category` string
- `source` 'gsa'
- `q` string
- `priceMin` number
- `priceMax` number
- `active` boolean
- `zip` string
- `radiusMiles` number
- `sort` 'ending-soonest' | 'newest'
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

## Response `200`

A page of listings. A zero-result page also carries a `scope` block naming the sources and market actually searched, so an empty `data` is distinguishable from "no such lots exist": raw listings are served for sanctioned public-domain sources only (gsa) in the US, while sold-price comps span the full market and all four comp markets (US, UK, Canada, Australia; the DE and FR markets carry live listings only and have no sold-price history).

- object
  - `data` Listing[]
    - `id` string
    - `source` 'gsa'
    - `sourceUrl` string, uri
    - `currency` string
    - `title` string
    - `category` string
    - `condition` string
    - `sellerName` string
    - `sellerType` string
    - `currentBid` number, nullable: Highest bid actually submitted, or null when no bid has been placed. Null is a fact, not a gap: it means nobody has bid.
    - `startingBid` number, nullable: Opening/minimum amount. ALWAYS null for gsa lots: the GSA Auctions v2 feed we ingest publishes no opening-bid field (its only price-related fields are highBidAmount, biddersCount, aucIncrement and reserve), so the opening figure shown on gsaauctions.gov is not available to us. Do not read null here as "no opening price".
    - `buyerPremiumPct` number
    - `bidCount` integer: Bidders/bids reported by the source. Read together with bidStateUnknown: a 0 with bidStateUnknown absent means no bids, a 0 with bidStateUnknown true means the source did not report.
    - `bidStateUnknown` boolean: Present and true only when the source publishes no bid state, making bidCount: 0 meaningless. Absent on gsa lots, which do publish bid state.
    - `location` object
      - `city` string
      - `state` string
      - `zip` string
      - `latitude` number, nullable
      - `longitude` number, nullable
    - `startsAt` string, date-time
    - `endsAt` string, date-time
    - `active` boolean
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `distanceMiles` number: Only when zip was supplied.
    - `facts` object: Parsed attributes (year, make, model, ...) when derivable from the listing text.
