# The public address an app Temps does not deploy should send analytics to.

`GET /projects/{project_id}/analytics/ingest-endpoint`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)

This is the `basePath` of the install snippet. It is its own endpoint
because `GET /settings` needs `settings:read`, which a project member does
not hold; this one needs only `AnalyticsRead` on the project, exactly like
listing the keys the same snippet embeds, and exposes nothing but the one
address. `external_url: null` means none is stored.

The configured external URL, or null when none is stored

- AnalyticsIngestEndpoint: The public address an app Temps does not deploy should send analytics to. Served separately from the platform settings because `GET /settings` needs `settings:read`, which a project member does not hold, while the install snippet this value goes into is shown to every role that can read the project's analytics. Only the one address the snippet embeds is exposed; no other setting travels with it.
  - `external_url` string, nullable: The configured external URL, without a trailing slash. `null` when no external URL is stored (or no settings service is available), in which case the caller must decide what to show instead; it is never guessed.
