# List the tunnel providers this control plane offers.

`GET /ingress/providers`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/ingress/providers`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Each entry describes its setup fields; answer them by key in
`create_ingress_connector`.

  - `dns` 'automatic' | 'manual' | 'provider_hostname', required: Who makes the published hostnames resolve.
  - `docs_url` string, nullable
  - `fields` SetupField[], required
    - `help` string, nullable
    - `key` string, required: The key in `values` of the create request.
    - `kind` union, required
      - object
        - `type` 'text', required
      - object: Stored encrypted, never returned by the API.
        - `type` 'secret', required
      - object: One of the cluster's DNS providers, of `provider_type` when set.
        - `provider_type` string, nullable
        - `type` 'dns_provider', required
      - object: A domain managed by the DNS provider chosen in the field `provider_field`, or with `allow_subdomain` a name under one.
        - `allow_subdomain` boolean
        - `provider_field` string, required
        - `type` 'managed_domain', required
    - `label` string, required
    - `placeholder` string, nullable
    - `required` boolean, required
  - `kind` string, required: Stored on the connector, e.g. `cloudflare_tunnel`.
  - `name` string, required
  - `needs_public_ip` boolean, required: Whether the worker needs a public address. Tunnels do not.
  - `requirements` string[], required: What the operator needs before starting, one line each.
  - `summary` string, required
  - `works_behind_cgnat` boolean, required: Whether it works when the ISP puts the worker behind carrier-grade NAT.
