# Update a project

`PATCH /api/v1/projects/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://goshipyard.app`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Partial update — send only the fields to change. Owner only. `slug`, counters, `featured` and `created_at` are server-managed and cannot be set.

    - `ordinal` integer, required: 0 = hero, 1–2 = gallery.
    - `url` string, uri, required
  - `html_url` string, uri, required: Human-facing project page.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not the owner of this resource.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `422`: Request failed validation.
- `429`: Too many requests — slow down.
