# Remove one image

`DELETE /api/v1/projects/{id}/images/{ordinal}`

## Request

Owner only. Deletes the image at the given ordinal.

The project with the image removed.

    - `ordinal` integer, required: 0 = hero, 1–2 = gallery.
    - `url` string, uri, required
  - `html_url` string, uri, required: Human-facing project page.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not the owner of this resource.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `422`: Request failed validation.
- `429`: Too many requests — slow down.
