# Delete a project

`DELETE /api/v1/projects/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://goshipyard.app`
- URL: `https://goshipyard.app/api/v1/projects/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Owner only. Cascades to the project's reviews, votes and images. Blocked with 409 while the project has an open bounty or an in-flight claim (deleting would strand escrowed funds).

## Response `200`

Deleted.

  - `id` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Authenticated, but not the owner of this resource.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `409`: Conflict — e.g. slug already taken, or delete blocked by an active bounty.
- `429`: Too many requests — slow down.
