# Echo a POST request

`POST /http/echo`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://gorest.co.in/public/v3`
- URL: `https://gorest.co.in/public/v3/http/echo`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer

## Response `200`

What the API received.

- Echo
  - `body` string, nullable, required: The body as sent, or null when there was none.
  - `body_encoding` 'text' | 'base64' | 'null', nullable, required: `text` for a UTF-8 body, `base64` for any other bytes, null with no body.
  - `headers` Headers, required: Each header once, its values joined with `, `.
  - `method` string, required
  - `path` string, required
  - `query` object, required: Each query parameter with all its values.

## Other responses

- `400`: A parameter is wrong, unknown or out of range.
- `401`: No token, or the token is wrong, expired or revoked.
- `413`: The body is over 64 KiB.
- `429`: Over the rate limit; wait `Retry-After` seconds.
- `500`: Something failed on the server.
