# POST /v4/partners/{partnerId}/channels/{+channelId}/sites:replace

`POST /v4/partners/{partnerId}/channels/{+channelId}/sites:replace`

## Request

- Auth: OAuth 2 (implicit, authorization URL `https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth`, scopes: `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video`) and OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth`, token URL `https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/token`, scopes: `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video`)

Replaces all of the sites under a single channel. The operation will replace the sites under a channel with the sites provided in ReplaceSitesRequest.new_sites. **This method regularly experiences high latency.** We recommend [increasing your default timeout](/display-video/api/guides/best-practices/timeouts#client_library_timeout) to avoid errors.

## Request body

- ReplaceSitesRequest: Request message for SiteService.ReplaceSites.
  - `advertiserId` string, int64: The ID of the advertiser that owns the parent channel.
  - `newSites` Site[]: The sites that will replace the existing sites assigned to the channel, specified as a list of Sites.
    - `name` string: Output only. The resource name of the site.
    - `urlOrAppId` string: Required. The app ID or URL of the site. Must be UTF-8 encoded with a maximum length of 240 bytes.
  - `partnerId` string, int64: The ID of the partner that owns the parent channel.
