# POST /v1/{+resource}:testIamPermissions

`POST /v1/{+resource}:testIamPermissions`

Gets your permissions on a resource. Returns an empty set of permissions if the resource doesn't exist. Supported resources are: - Reservations No Google IAM permissions are required to call this method.

## Path parameters

- `resource` string, required

## Request body

- TestIamPermissionsRequest — Request message for `TestIamPermissions` method.
  - `permissions` string[] — The set of permissions to check for the `resource`. Permissions with wildcards (such as `*` or `storage.*`) are not allowed. For more information see [IAM Overview](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/overview#permissions).
