# Revoke a verifier

`DELETE /verifiers/{verifier_id}`

## Request

Sets ``status="revoked"`` and ``revoked_at`` for **caller-owned** ``scope=user`` verifiers only (UUID or name). Platform ``scope=system`` verifiers reject as 404. The verifier disappears from list/get/run for the owner; existing run rows are retained. Irreversible; replace by deploying a fresh verifier under a new name.
