# (EXPERIMENTAL) Execute a flow

`POST /api/v1/actions/workspaces/{workspaceId}/execution/flow`

Note: This API is experimental and is going to change. Please, use it accordingly. Runs the transformations of a flow over its inputs and stores the result. The response links to the result.

## Path parameters

- `workspaceId` string, required

## Request body

- FlowRequest: A flow: named inputs and the transformations that run over them.
  - `inputs` object, required: Inputs of the flow by name. A transformation refers to an input by its name.
  - `transformations` FlowTransformation[]: Transformations in the order they run. The result of the last transformation is the result of the flow. Without transformations, the result is the only input.
    - `id` string, nullable: Identifier of the transformation. Give it when a later transformation refers to it. The identifier does not change the result.
    - `inputRefs` object: Inputs of the operation by name. Each one refers to a flow input or to an earlier transformation. The primary input is named data. When data is not given, it refers to the previous transformation, or to the only flow input for the first transformation.
    - `operation` string, required: Name of the operation, as the operation catalog lists it.
    - `parameters` object: Parameters of the operation. They must match the parameter schema of the operation.

## Response `200`

The flow was accepted.

  - `links` ExecutionLinks, required: Links to the execution result.
    - `executionResult` string, required: Link to the result data.
