- Auth: none declared

Deletes a user from a project.

You can:

* Delete yourself from a project (leave the project).

**NOTE:** You cannot leave the project if you are the only admin in the project. In this case, the API call will fail with a response code of `403`.

* Delete another user from a project.

**NOTE:** You need to have the `canSuspendUser` permission in this project. If you do not have this permission, the API call will fail with a response code of `405`.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, required
- `user_id` string, required

## Response `200`

_

## Other responses

- `403`: The API call failed. This has happened because you are the only admin in the project. You cannot leave the project if you are the only admin in it. You can make another user an admin in this project, and then re-issue the call.
- `405`: The API call failed. This has happened for one of the following reasons: a) You tried to delete yourself from the project but misspelled your user ID in the call request; b) You tried to delete another user from the project but did not have the `canSuspendUser` permission in this project. Check your ID in the request and your permissions in the project, then re-issue the call.
