# Share a project data entry sharable with another user or user group

`POST /gdc/projects/{project_id}/userData/{entry_key}/modifyShare`

In the request, the `operation` parameter specifies how to modify a project data entry.
In this API call, `operation` is always set to `SET` so that the project data entry gets updated in the following way: all existing information about sharing this entry is removed, and new information (who to share this entry with) is added.
