# Stop an execution

`DELETE /gdc/projects/{projectId}/dataload/processes/{processId}/executions/{executionId}`

**WARNING:** Stopping a running execution may cause data inconsistency.<br/>

## Response `204`

No Content - process execution has been terminated  successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - process execution has dependants and cannot be terminated
- `404`: Not Found - process execution cant be found
- `410`: Gone - process execution cant be terminated
